Simms & Mallery

Georgetown, South Carolina holds a special place in the hearts of Simms and Mallery, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this cherished area with y’all as we celebrate together! For generations, our families have gathered in Georgetown, Pawleys Island, and Litchfield; places that have been both home and a well loved escape. At the heart of it all is Prince George Winyah Parish Church, also known as the "wax church" where Mallery decided very young that lit candles were grabbable much to his parents and grandparents chagrin. Mallery's mom was raised in Georgetown where her dad, Dr. Jim Forrester, was the Georgetown General Surgeon, laying down roots for generations to come. Simms' own parents were just down the beach from each other vacationing in Pawleys Island from Columbia with their own parents, crossing paths with the Forresters just down the road - a tradition that is carried on to this day. Mallery's parents were wed in Prince George Winyah Parish Church in 1986 and were the first couple to host a wedding reception at Brookgreen Gardens. Georgetown, Pawleys Island, and Litchfield have always been a source of common joy, tradition, and love for the both of us. After a Christmastime engagement on a bright, beautiful Saturday morning at Prince Frederick Chapel of Ease, the summer chapel to Prince George Winyah, it was the easiest decision to become the Pindars in the place where it has always felt meant to be. Welcome to Georgetown! Love, Simms & Mallery
