This trail holds a special place in our hearts because we were hiking it when Michael popped the question! While we may be biased, it is a fun hike with beautiful views. It’s 2 hours. Trailhead is a 30 min drive from Westchester Marriott and 35 min from Opus. If you have some time, we highly recommend this trail.
Another one of our favorite hiking trails that we frequent is the Hook Mountain and Nyack Beach loop. Feel free to take in the breathtaking views and soak up the peaceful sounds of nature. We've done this trail a few times, seen at the summit what we think is the same owl perched on a flag pole, and enjoyed the view every time. The last stretch is a flat path along the Hudson River. It’s a 2 ½ hour hike, moderate difficulty. Trailhead is a 15 min drive from Westchester Marriott and 20 min from Opus.
