Our love story started as most classics do... on a dating app called Bumble. Sarah made the first move by sending a message saying, "you have kind eyes" and the rest was history. After two weeks of late night phone calls and constant texting we finally decided to meet face to face. It was December 18, 2020 when Josh picked Sarah up at her house beaming with excitement as he skipped around the chevy to greet his future wife. We drove into Tacoma where we dinned at the finest establishment there was to offer... Frisco Freeze. Of course at the time everything was still shut down so the line was long, but we didn't mind. For the entire 45 minutes sitting in the drive through we spent sneaking glances at each other and looking away when our eyes met and smiling until our cheeks burned. We then took our food to Ruston Way Waterfront where we parked, spent time talking, and beginning to get to know each other better.

In memory of our first date on a chilly December day Josh called Sarah on his way to pick her up and reminded her of just how special that first date was 2 years ago. Josh parked his chevy in the same spot in front of the house and came to the greet me at the front door. We headed to go get some food where it all began at Frisco Freeze. Of course we took our food to the waterfront where we ate and talked about how special our first date was. Shortly after we walked out onto the dock Josh got down on one knee with excitement in his eyes and nerves all over he purposed to Sarah. With excitement, shock, and pure joy Sarah said yes! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in June 2024!
