Bride
Lexi was born on November 23, 1993, in Redlands, CA to Eddie and Michelle Bevins. She has one brother, Andrew, and they have always been close. Family means everything to Lexi, and she would not be where she is today without the support of her amazing family. Tennis runs in the family, and of course, Lexi grew to love tennis herself. It was because of tennis that she ended up at Holy Names University, and as a result, met Nick. She will be forever grateful for taking the plunge and moving up North because she was able to find a person that simply makes her life better.
Groom
Nick was born on April 22, 1993, and grew up in Fremont, Livermore, and San Ramon, CA. Nick is the son of Steve and Jennifer Simi & Rosalinda Cuebas-Carrero and Israel Carrero Sr. Nick also has five siblings, Hailey, Amanda, Isabella, Israel, and Krystle. Growing Up, Nick's love of sports, especially basketball, would help him secure an athletic scholarship to Holy Names University where he majored in Business Management. It is there that fate led him to Lexi. Nick began his career in Finance before taking a liking to Software development and Product Management. Today, Nick is a Software Product Manager and resides with Lexi in Laguna Niguel, CA.
Matron of Honor
Saska is married to the Bride's brother Andrew and is the sister Lexi always dreamed of. Since moving back to California from Boston, a week doesn't go by that Saska and Lexi don't hang out..and a day doesn't go by that they don't talk. Saska is the best person Lexi can think of to stand by her side as Matron of Honor. She is strong and the most caring friend. She shows us all how incredible she is by running her own business and being the best boy mama out there! Yet she still finds time to hit Boot Barn with Lexi and plan this incredible wedding, she truly can do it all. Saska, more like Super Saska.
Best Man
Israel is the Groom's Brother and the Groom's best friend. Growing up together, Nick and Israel embodied the real-life version of Step Brothers. They are always having fun, even if everyone else is not. They have similar humor and share a deep love of all sports. Growing up, there were ups and downs and they would fight like brothers, but at the end of the day, they always have each other's back. Nick and Israel have done it all together from middle school to adulthood and will always be a big part of Nick and Lexi's life. P.S. Ladies... He is a very eligible bachelor as well.
Bridesmaid
Torrey and Lexi have shared so many special memories together. Torrey is the oldest of the three sisters in the bridal party and has always been extremely close to Lexi. They both have always had a thrill with traveling, but they seemed to always get into some kind of trouble together. Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and San Francisco have been some of their favorite trips taken to date. Don't let her pretty looks and nice personality fool you, she is intelligent and seems to always have the right piece to solve the puzzle. Lexi's favorite memories in life involve Torrey, she is a very important part of Lexi's life and will continue to be!
Groomsman
Andrew is the Bride's Brother! Lexi and Andrew are 5 years apart and have a very special relationship. Lexi looks up to Andrew so much, on and off the tennis court he is a role model for her. Andrew is a professional tennis coach and has convinced Nick to stop working on his jump shots and start focusing on his drop shots. Besides improving Nick's forehand, Andrew and Nick have connected on several other passions including business, family, and last but not least-Hennessy. Since moving back to California, it has been such a blessing to live so close to Andrew and his family as they bring the Bride and Groom so much joy and happiness.
Bridesmaid
Melanie is smart, kind, and beautiful. Melanie is in the trio of sisters in the bridal party, so Lexi was blessed with three cousins to stand by her side on the wedding day. Melanie is currently in her first year attending San Diego State University. It isn't often that you come across someone who is so selfless and supportive as Melanie is. She always thinks of others before herself and does not want to disappoint. She shares a lot of the same qualities as the bride, including not speaking up when the Starbucks order is wrong, or the time they walked for multiple miles because Melanie mistaked Van's Fabrics store for Van's shoe store. This is why they have such a special bond. Melanie is more than a bridesmaid, she provides a sense of comfort and the Bride couldn't do it without her!
Groomsman
Jacob is a friend of the Groom and a fellow former college athlete. Nick and Jacob instantly became friends when they realized they shared a similar love for eating Taco Bell and playing FIFA on Playstation. For a couple of years, you could always catch the Nick's and Israel at Boyd's household after school eating Mrs. Boyd's amazing brownies and hanging out. Jacob played soccer and attended High Point University where he met his wife Alecia. Nick was a Groomsman at Jacob and Alecia's wedding as well. Nick is excited to have Jacob in the wedding party but hopes that Jacob breaks out some moves he used in the Mr. Cowboy competition in high school.
Bridesmaid
Nicole is the youngest of the three sisters in Lexi's bridal party. Nicole is very quick-witted, and has one of the most fun personalities that you'll find at the wedding! Lexi owes her love for Harry Potter to Nicole..although it didn't come easy and took about ten years. Nicole endured lots of teasing to put it lightly. Nicole persisted and Lexi finally came around...sorry for all the nerdy jokes Nicole! In all honesty, Nicole is such a joy to be around and makes any family event more fun. Can't wait to see her "Just Dance" skills on the wedding dance floor!
Bridesmaid
Jas is the Bride's best friend from college. Lexi and Jasmine met at Holy Names University on the Women's Tennis Team. Jasmine is the perfect amount of spice to any outing. Jasmine and Lexi have been through a lot together, from working multiple jobs together to bar hopping on the weekends in San Francisco, the two of them were inseparable. They even shared a small one-bedroom for a while! From heartbreak to hangovers, to cross country moves, they always remained close friends. They have kept in contact after college, and she remains one of the most special people in Lexi's life.
RING BEARERS
Henry (Age 5) and Heath (Age 1) are the Bride's nephews. Henry and Heath are such an important part of both Lexi and Nick's lives. Henry famously coined the nickname "Slick Nick" for Nick the day they met, so Nick is formally known as Slick within the Bride's family. The boys are so loving and happy, they bring so much joy to the lives of whoever they meet. Get ready to see them make their way down the aisle!
Flower Girl
We are so happy to have Elena as the flower girl at our wedding. From choreographing dances for the bride and groom to do and being one of the only people actually interested in Nick's magic tricks, Elena is very special to Nick and The Bride. Elena is eight years old, and is surely going to be the funniest girl you will come in contact with at the wedding! Her laugh is infectious and she loves to be the life of the party. She is definitely going to light up the dance floor all night long. We love you Elena and we are so thankful you are going to be a special part of our day.
