How We met!

Tope's Story We matched on Facebook Dating. When I first saw her profile, I actually stopped for a second because something about it stood out compared to all the others I had been swiping through. Her outfit caught my eye, and I immediately thought, “She has to be Nigerian.” It was a lace gown, a really nice outfit for the photo, so I took a closer look at her profile. Turns out, she's Nigerian, Yoruba, and from Ondo state. At that point, I was pretty sure I found someone special, but I still had to approach her like a gentleman. She replied without delay, which was a good sign for me. Once we got talking, the conversation flowed, and she seemed pleasant. I asked for her Instagram so I could check her profile more, and she gave it to me without hesitation. After that, I took a few days to do some digging before reaching out to her again. Simi's story After Tee liked my profile on Facebook back in 2023, and I checked out his profile, I was interested to hear what he had to say because I realized he was from the same state as me (Ondo) and also a statistician, which made me think he must be pretty smart. I have a thing for people who are good with math since it's a weak spot for me, lol. Anyway, he asked for my Instagram, I gave it to him, and he followed me after some days. I noticed we had a mutual friend, which made things feel a bit easier. We started chatting, and well, here we are now!

ECCLESIASTES 4: 9-12

”Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.“ ‭‭
