If I told you we met at leadership camp would you believe me? As my counselor, Shanna tucked me in every night and the rest is history. Friends since high school and always in a long-distance cross timezone friendship, Shanna's annual trips to Wisco and my annual ski trips to CO, make our friendship a treasured one. And.... let's be honest, if it weren't for Shanna I wouldn't have found a love of Pat McCurdy or country music.

Freshman history class is where this friendstory began. We sat next to each other and became quick friends--not sure if we learned any history :) We joke that our first time hanging out was my parents taking us to see to the Titanic in a packed theatre with them!. Laura and I have a small obsession for coffee. We have shared countless memories from Summerfest to Irish Fest..Phil Vassar and everything in between. While there are a lot of things I can count on for Laura, saying yes to adventure would top the list. Our highlights would be traveling to Paris and Iceland together....a trip neither of us will ever forget.

Buddy Up!! Lisa is my scuba buddy--and let me tell you how important an oxygen buddy is when when you are 40 feet under the sea. Lisa and I went to college together at MU and became each other's travel roomie. It started on a Marquette service trips to Kingston, Jamaica and then Punta Gorda, Belize. From there you would have to ask her about her puck shot at an Admirals game and the rest is history. We decided we should keep traveling and so we do! Just ask Lisa about JSM moments and the stories will soon follow.

I will leave it to Matt to tell you how we met (junior year of high school--the story starts how all good high school stories start "we were hanging out at Johnny V's".........) and then the story takes a twist when you find out that Shanna and Matt were actually friends first. Life events led to Matt being back in MKE while I was at MU and Thirsty Thursdays at Lucilles became a quick tradition. He deserves the other half of the credit as to how I have even come to know the importance of a Six Pack of Summer.

Older brother? Younger brother? One will never know when you are born on leap year!! While there were certainly years we likely terrorized each other, with age I like to think we might actually be friends now :) I still don't trust him near a snowball or a lake--but thankful to have him by my side on my wedding day.
