Bride
Groom
Ahh Jake, my other half. The person who is stuck with me forever. He is a kind, supportive, goofball made mostly of spongebob meme references. I couldn't imagine spending my life with anyone else. We do pretty much everything together. He has shown me that who I am as a person is enough, no matter what anyone else thinks. I don't always have to hold myself up anymore and that is an incredible feeling. I'll be honest though, I'm glad were not getting married where we met because a gas station wedding does not sound romantic.
Maid of Honor
This woman is my ride or die. The storm to my calm. My rock when I need one most. We met in our college suite. We went through a lot together and I couldn't ask for a crazier... I mean better Maid of Honor. No matter what we go through in life together or separately we will always be there for each other.
Flower Girl
Bridesmaid
This girl... where do I start? She's the reason we are all coming together for this wedding. She is the one who (unknowingly) introduced me to the love of my life. It all started in the lobby of the Falany Performing Arts center in 2013. I was standing there awkwardly because I knew absolutely no one. She came up to me a struck a conversation, we decided to be roommates, she spilled coke on my dad at orientation, and the rest is history. Now, she reminds me of where I come from. I can always depend on her when I need her, and she's pretty good at planning parties!
Bridesmaid
Jessica was my assistant manager at Dollar General. I always loved working with her and once we both left I reached out to her about eggs and a crochet item for a baby shower, and now we craft together all of the time. She awakened a passion in me for sewing and crochet, and it opened us up to really get to know and understand each other. I love having her as a friend because she can bring out the silly in me with our tiktok trend attempts. Everyone needs that friend they can go to to vent and talk about real life problems, and she is that person. We even do it while we craft.
Bridesmaid
Jamie, before you read this, just know I love you hahaha. This girl right here is CRAZY. In the best way possible. We met through a mutual friend and have been close friends ever since, but maaaan have we helped each other through some stuff. I can count on this girl for anything. If its possible for her to do or help, she'll be right there with me. She has played a major role in helping me with our wedding and I couldn't be more thankful.
Bridesmaid
Breanna and I met through our significant others (her husband is the best man). Nothing super crazy, but being able to call her my friend is amazing. We haunt together, we craft together, we thrift together, we party plan and wedding plan together. She is the graceful friend in manners. Clumsy, but mannered haha.
Bridesmaid
You know, there's something amazing about Jake's friends. They have introduced me to some incredible women, and Elizabeth is one of them. She is Nic's other half, and the mother to our ring bearer. Elizabeth and I haven't know each other super long, but we exist on the same wavelength. We have a very similar energy and I'm so glad to have met her. Also, all of the credit for my nails on our wedding day go to her because she is an incredible nail artist!
Father of the Bride
Forever my daddy. I'll forever be his little girl. He's hard headed, opinionated, strong, and the man who never forgot to remind me that I needed to marry a mechanic because he wouldn't work on my cars forever. I didn't mean to take him seriously, but that's ok! I couldn't ask for a better dad.
Mother of the Bride
My momma, the STRONGEST woman I know. She has been through so much in her life, and she always finds the light in every situation. She also worries ( I had to get it from somewhere), but we're working on that haha. She put up with a lot of pranks from my sister, dad and I growing up, but she still loves us with every fiber of her being. We butted heads a lot when I was younger but I know I can always count on her when I need her most. I'm so happy I have a mom like her.
Best Man
I truly cannot say enough about this guy. All throughout high school he always had my back and was sure to keep my best interest in mind, even when I didn't. We would always stay outside on the weekend nights just talking about our lives and all the troubles of our teenage relationships. I can't even begin to count how many times Seth and I have helped each other get through some tough times. Neither of us are perfect but we do our best to help make sure we don't screw anything up haha. I'm so grateful that we've kept in touch and have been so close in the recent years. I couldn't ask for a better guy to stand by my side through this ceremony.
Ring Bearer
Groomsman
I met Nic at Chattahoochee Tech. We were both going through diesel classes. I ended up hanging out with him outside of school which mostly consisted of getting way out in the middle of nowhere in the mountains just to see what we could find. I've taken more trips to North Georgia WITH him than without him if that tells you anything. He's a solid, reliable friend that has always been there for me, even helped me with things I didn't know I was struggling with. This is the man who has really taught me to live outside of my comfort zone because that's where all the crazy and wonderful things in life happen.
Groomsman
If memes and dirty jokes could be a living human being, this is that human being. I spent the first couple years knowing Brett as my friend. Only to find out that he's actually my cousin. All in all, he's been one of my closest friends but he's much more than just living close by. Brett has been my jam buddy for almost as long as I've been playing guitar. He's a great guy to just chill with but is also usually down for anything. He's been there with me through most everything and has always helped me to remember I need time to relax and not take life so seriously sometimes. Brett is a great friend and I'm glad to have him up there with us on our big day.
Groomsman
I don't even know where to start. Many times this man has compelled the stupid side of me to "try it and see what happens" while we're wondering how far my 30 year old 2WD Chevy will make it before we get stranded in the middle of the woods at 1AM with no cell service. Miraculously we haven't marooned ourselves yet. I'm glad I have a friend that corroborates our ridiculous stories and DEFINITELY doesn't mind putting in the work for his friends.
Groomsman
I've been friends with Brandon for 15 years. He's someone who definitely shares my level of chill and has always been there for us whenever we needed help. I can't count the times that we've set out to "Get back into playing guitar / bass" only for life to end up getting in the way. Maybe someday we will really pick it back up. Couldn't ask for a better friend to just chill with and talk about some real stuff.
Groomsman
SO MUCH to say about this guy. I didn't know him until 2017 when I found out I'm actually not an only child (I was adopted as a newborn). He's slightly older and has had a far rougher life than me. That being said, we share the same interests, have a lot of overlapping mannerisms, and share the same taste in music. In many aspects, it's like we were never apart from each other even though I didn't know my birth family for 23 years. We've gotten extremely close in these short 4 years I've known him. Finally found someone who talks in memes and references Spongebob as much as I do. Proud to have this man up there with us for our big ceremony
