Another gorgeous canyon for hiking. Our favorite is Red Pine Lake Trail (6.7 miles). There are countless trails ranging from easy to difficult - please check out AllTrails for more suggestions.

Jordanelle State Park

If you're looking for a beach, Jordanelle is a family-friendly reservoir nestled in the mountains. The State Park is about 37 miles from downtown Salt Lake City.

A scenic town just over 30 miles from downtown Salt Lake. Enjoy restaurants, shopping, mountain views (and more hiking, of course!) Park City also holds a fantastic Fourth of July parade if you’re staying in Utah for a couple more days!
