Hotel Hacienda Bajamar

Please call the hotel directly to make reservations. We have a block of rooms reserved under the “Daniela & Simba” wedding. You will not be able to book online so calling is the only means by which you will be able to book a hotel at Bajamar. To book a room please contact the hotel directly at (888) 311-6076. We recommend calling in the morning as their lines get pretty busy starting in the afternoon. If there are any issues please ask for Daniela Garcia. Flight

San Diego or Tijuana

The hotel (Bajamar) is located about 40 miles south of Tijuana, Mexico. The easiest airport to fly into is San Diego (SAN) or you may fly into Tijuana (TIJ). Please note that there are no flights directly into TIJ from the US, so if using this option, you will likely need to fly through Mexico City which will take significantly more time. Once at the airport there are a few options to travel to the hotel: 1) Take a taxi/Uber to the border and once you cross the border take another Uber/ taxi to Bajamar 2) Book Bajamar’s shuttle to take you to the venue (from Tijuana only). Bajamar’s shuttle service from Tijuana is $99 (each way) with capacity of approximately 12 people or less depending on luggage. The $99 is cost of the entire shuttle regardless of the number of guests. 3) Rent a car in San Diego or Tijuana and drive to the venue. 4) Take a shuttle from San Diego to Bajamar. See "Shuttle from San Diego to Bajamar" section below for details. When returning to the US, please consider there can be long wait times at the border depending on the day/time you decide to return. Wait times are usually shorter in the early morning. Visit https://bwt.cbp.gov/ to determine border wait times. When returning to the US, you can use either San Ysidro or Otay Mesa port of entry.

Travel Note

Shuttle from San Diego to Bajamar

There are several companies that provide shuttle services from San Diego to Bajamar. We contacted All Access SD (https://www.allaccesssd.com/) and they provide transport from San Diego to Bajamar for approximately $60 - $120 per person each way depending on the size of the group. The service will pick up from the SD airport and when returning to the US, will have expedited service through customs to avoid the long car line at the border. Please contact All Access SD at 619 548 9914 if you would like to use this option. If you would like to paired with another guest group attending the wedding, please reach out to us and we can try and connect you with another group using the service as it may reduce the cost.
