Joey and Katie have known each other since grade school. They grew up in the same neighborhood in Belgrade, MT. In high school they had many Ben & Jerry's nights, went swing dancing, performed in school talent shows together, and enjoyed many good memories with friends around a bonfire. Joey is now attending Montana State University pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Sheridan Shaffer
Best Man
Boy oh Boy. Sheridan and Jamie have known each other and been best buds for as long as either of them can remember. Jamie was constantly over at Sheridan's house growing up and visa versa. They've shared countless memories, too many to list here. From childhood shenanigans to high school sports and many other events, and many many more. Even after barely seeing each other going to two different colleges that were only 7 miles away from each other, they've never skipped a beat whenever they've got together. Sheridan just got married himself November of 2017 to his beautiful wife Emma where Jamie was his best man. He lives with her working full time down in Eastern Oregon and looking at going back to school soon to become an educator.
Michaela Schad

Michaela and Katie met in college at WSU. Through many late night study sessions, they quickly began to realize the beautiful friendship that blossomed from coffee addiction, love of Jesus, and pun-filled conversations. They are thankful that God brought each other into their lives as an answer to prayer. Michaela is currently attending school to become an Ultrasound Technician.
Alec Mitchell

Alec grew up with Jamie as well. While he was a year behind Jamie, Sheridan, and Stephen he may as well have been the same age. He played an important part in all the successes growing up in school in sports at Pullman Christian School and the many additional adventures. Since he and Jamie graduated high school and Alec came back to Pullman after a year away they've grown closer than ever. From many fun times spent together with friends and church groups to Jamie's feet being in the water at Alec's baptism, they've grown quite close over the last few years. Alec is currently in Pullman doing a plethora of activities, working hard and loving people while looking at some serious and big next steps.
Rachel Montgomery
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Katie met at WSU. They accredit the beginning of their friendship to a stink bug that needed to be caught in Rachel's dorm room. They realized that they both needed someone who felt like home away from home. And so spurred the friendship of Katie and Rachel. Rachel graduated from WSU with her BS in Athletic Training and is a Certified Athletic Trainer working in Renton, WA.
Stephen Lagerquist
Groomsman
Stephen grew up with Jamie. They have had many an adventure together. If Stephen mentions something about his finger make sure you get Jamie's side of the story too. Other than Middle School they were in the same small class from Kindergarten to 12th grade. They played sports together, the clear highlight being soccer and their 3 league championships together with their fellow classmate Sheridan. Since high school, they have grown extremely close. Stephen is currently working full time in Moscow and visits both his parents and Jamie and Katie up in Spokane regularly because that's just the kind of awesome guy he is.
Mine Munoz

Mine and Katie met in college at WSU. In 2016, they went on a mission trip to Haiti that brought them closer together on many, many, I repeat, many levels. Through game nights, movie nights, and camp trips, they truly enjoy each others presence and influence in each others' lives. Mine is currently living in Pullman, WA working at SEL and plans to go to school for Nursing in the near future.
Patrick Benson
Groomsman
Patrick and Jamie go WAY back. Probably further than any of the other groomsmen. You see, they grew up right next to each other for a good portion of Jamie's and Patrick's childhood. In the cute little neighborhood of Golden Hills on the outskirts of Pullman, they made many childhood memories with their sisters and Andy. Since then they've stayed as close as brothers and love any chance they get to get together. Patrick works as a plumber in Moscow and just recently passed the plumbing test!
Melissa Jallings
Bridesmaid
Melissa is Katie's older sister, although, often she is mistaken for being younger. Melissa and Katie along with their youngest sister Mariah enjoy singing together in their band called "Sugar Coated". Melissa lives in Belgrade, Montana with her son, Levi, and her love, Chris and are expecting a new addition to the family in March 2018!
Mason O'Neil

Mason and Jamie ran into each other at the end of their last semester at WSU in Pullman. It was while returning their books that they found out that each other was going to the WSU Nursing Program together! Little did they know this would be the start of a wonderful friendship and many nursing experiences made together while struggling through nursing school together for the next two years. Mason will graduate WSU's College of Nursing this May with Jamie and go on to do amazing things in the profession.
Mariah Jallings

Mariah is Katie's youngest sister. They have played soccer together from grade school and into high school. Katie feels very fortunate to have had someone like Mariah in her life who brings such joy and laughter. Mariah is currently living in Belgrade, Montana working as a Dental Assistant and plans to pursue a career as a Dental Hygienist.
Chad Thomas
Groomsman
Chad and Jamie (and Katie) met at WSU in Pullman while attending college and going to their church and Christian college group. They're friendship really blossomed with their friend group who watched Prison Break together and got together for game nights often. He came from Whitworth with a degree in Physics and just recently graduated from WSU in Pullman with a degree in engineering! He has proven himself an amazing and loyal friend. He is doing some world traveling post-graduation and then coming back to the area to begin work as a professional engineer.
Kara Simanson
Bridesmaid
Kara is Jamie's sister. Thus, obviously, they grew up together. Jamie and Kara were close as youngins, then, as can only be expected were at each other's throats for a few of the middle years. But by the time they were both in high school they were close once again. She is very lovely and incredibly creative. Jamie and Kara have only grown to love each other more as they've moved on to their adult lives with their significant others. She is currently living in Moscow and working in Pullman working for SEL with her love Paul.
Andrew Simanson
Groomsman
Andy came into the world when Jamie was 5 1/2. They hit it off from the start. While he looks nothing like Jamie, and most people are shocked to hear that they are brothers, often saying "No Way!" they indeed came from the same parents. Andy and Jamie have come to be pretty dang close in recent years since Jamie graduated high school and Andy entered high school. He is a Junior at Pullman Christian School, plays a plethora of games, from video to sports, just received his first car (a stick-shift! Nice work mom and dad!), and is thriving in school this year. Super stoked to have this stud in the lineup.
