Our favorite spot in El Salvador and our Friday day trip, Coatepeque is a stunning lake nestled in a massive volcanic crater. It's known for its tranquil waters, thermal springs, and the unique phenomenon that occasionally turns its waters a striking turquoise.

Named after it's characteristic "pig" shaped rock, and just 25 min away from the capital, El Tunco is one of the top surfing destinations in the world!
