The Sikh wedding ceremony, known as the Anand Karaj, is a spiritual and joyous celebration of the couple's union. The ceremony takes place in the presence of the Guru Granth Sahib (the Sikh holy scripture) and involves four hymns called Lavan, which are recited to signify the couple's journey together in faith, love, and mutual respect. We kindly request that guests remove their shoes and cover their heads before taking a seat. There will be light snacks and refreshments served in the Atrium prior to the Hindu Ceremony.
