What is the best way to get to Fredericksburg, VA?

Answer

If you're inside the DC / MD / VA area, it's an easy drive down I-95. Please be mindful of the VA traffic while traveling down! For those outside of the DC-Maryland-Virginia area, Fredericksburg is located about 50-65 miles from Washington Reagan National Airport, Washington Dulles, and Richmond International Airport. There is also a very convenient Amtrak station in the heart of Fredericksburg.

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

If you are staying at The Publisher Hotel, we will have shuttle service to and from the venue. Details on transportation from hotel to follow. There is plenty of free parking at the venue. Please look out for signs directing you to parking areas. Our venue allows for parking overnight until 8am the next day to ensure drivers aren't forced to move their cars after a night of drinking. We want our guests to stay safe, please take an Uber or Lyft if you've had too much to drink. You won't be towed!

Please plan to arrive at 5:00-5:15pm. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm.

In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited. If you do have a guest, this will be indicated on your invitation. Please contact us with any questions.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This wedding is for adults ages 21+ only. We love your kids, but thought you might like a night off!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. The cocktail hour will be the only event held outside, weather permitting.
