Our love story began when we first met in youth group, knowing of each other for years but never truly connecting. We both shared a love for music and played in ministry, but it wasn’t until later that our paths crossed more deeply. During the Christmas season of 2023, our connection began to grow. Bible in a Year is what sparked our conversations outside of the ministry, leading to a true friendship—the start of our relationship. We would take advantage of every opportunity to see each other, like showing up to each other’s masses where we were playing; and we would say anything to keep the conversation going. We found ourselves always wanting each other’s company. As we spent more time together, the more we wanted to be there for each other through life’s highs and lows—fun moments, sad moments, exciting moments, and prayerful moments; and we definitely got many of those opportunities. With each passing day, we grew closer and began to understand just how much we meant to one another. From our very first date, we knew we were meant to be. Before long, we both felt that our journey together was leading to marriage. We finally got engaged in Nashville, Tennessee, where our marriage preparation all began. As we navigate this path of marriage preparation, we’ve discovered not only the strength of our bond but also the countless ways we complement and support one another. We often find ourselves in awe of how far we’ve come, and how much we continue to grow. Through it all, one thing is clear: we are beyond blessed to have one another in this incredible journey called life. Our love continues to grow, day by day, and we eagerly await all that God has in store for us. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you.
