Antelope Valley was illuminated in the vibrant orange of the poppy super-bloom on April 17, 2019. Hills and valleys swayed in the light breeze while Mark kept a firm hold on the backpack that hid a ring box, unbeknownst to Silvia. They hiked up and down the trails until finally they reached the tallest climb. There, Mark slipped the box out, knelt down on one knee, confessed his love, and ended with the question, "Silvia Orozco de la Mora, te casarías conmigo?" Will you marry me?
