As many of you know we met at work. For about a year after Silvia started working at Burgermaster we both were in our own world we didn’t even talk at that time. At work we would always ask for money when someone asks for a favor as a joke, so one Saturday night Dakota asked me (Silvia) to open a door for him and I said $50 (we never actually give money) but that day Dakota gave me the money and left it on the counter. I saw that and took the money because I was cleaning there and I put it on a shelf (spoiler I forgot completely about the money and I just went home). Until Wednesday night I got a message on facebook from Dakota, and at that time I didn’t have him as a friend, saying “You’d better buy me something nice with that $50” I was so embarrassed about it, because I just forgot about that money and at that time was already past almost 4 days I wanted to die for how bad I felt about it. Next time I saw Dakota I tried to give him the $50 back, but he didn't want to take it and we kept going back and forth with it. In the end I gave it to him (and ran home across the street), but he messaged me to say he didn't want the money and was going to use it to get me something. Little did I know that was his way of setting up our first date. Ever since that first message we've talked every day, and now here we are :)
