On a hot June day in the summer of 2022, we both had a ticket to go see a Morgan Wallen concert at the most romantic venue on earth - Darien Lake Amphitheater. We went with separate groups; however the groups combined thanks to our wonderful officiant Lindsay. Separately we both shared the sentiment to her that we were going to fall in love that day. After a few beers and a few shots, Rachel approached Andrew with a killer pickup line - "What's your name and how old are you?" Andrew replied - "Andrew, 25" and from that moment on we were by each others side for the rest of the night. Like any modern love story we exchanged phone numbers and texted for a couple days only for Rachel to ask Lindsay does he really play softball 5 days a week?? (Crazy we know). She said yes he does so he isn't blowing you off I promise. Fast forward a couple years, Andrew bought tickets to a Morgan Wallen concert in Denver, Colorado as a Christmas gift. The concert was the same weekend in June as the one we met at two years later. Rachel had no idea he was planning this trip not only for the concert but also to propose. We took a drive down to Red Rocks and were exploring the amphitheater and park and stopped to take a break because the altitude was no joke! When Andrew found the perfect spot he got down on one knee to ask the question and Rachel obviously said yes!!! We attribute a lot of our relationship to seeing Morgan Wallen and he will always have a special place in both of our hearts.
