Florence is home to many wonderful hotels and Airbnbs, and we'd love for you to feel free to select one that feels right for you. We recommend hotels or airbnbs in the city center of Florence such as Hotel Baglioni, Brunelleschi hotel, Grand Hotel Cavour, Hotel Lungarno Vespucci 50, Antica Torre di Via Tornabuoni, Duomo Luxury Florence, Hotel Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio and many more. If you're interested, we've arranged special rates with The St. Regis Hotel Florence and the Excelsior Luxury Collection, simply reach out to either property and mention you're guests of our wedding to inquire about the rates.

What is the dress code for the Welcome Dinner?

Answer

Our Welcome Dinner will take place on a beautiful terrace in the Florentine countryside in Fiesole. We invite you to wear casual elegant attire, Stylish but relaxed, think blazers or button-down shirts and trousers for men, and cocktail dresses for women or chic summer evening wear, as we celebrate together in this stunning setting.

We kindly request black tie attire for our celebration. Women are invited to wear a long evening gown.

What will the weather be like in Florence?

Answer

Late October in Florence is beautiful but can be unpredictable. * Average daytime temperature: 65–72°F (18–22°C) * Evenings: cooler (50–55°F / 10–13°C) * Chance of light rain We recommend: * Bringing a light jacket or shawl for the evening * Comfortable shoes for walking on cobblestone streets. * A small umbrella, just in case!

How do we get between venues?

Answer

For the Wedding, October 22: The ceremony and reception are just a short walk apart (less than 1 min.) in Florence's historic center, which is wonderfully walkable! Ubers and Taxis are also available if you prefer. For the Welcome Dinner, October 21: We're finalizing the details and will arrange transportation for all our guests to this venue. We'll share all the specifics closer to the date.
