Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

PLEASE RSVP BY March 31, 2024!! Once you receive your formal invitation, please respond as soon as possible. This is going to help us figure out food and seating, so whether you are responding for your family, you and your significant other, or just for yourself please let us know how many in your party will be attending by 03/31/2024! Thank you!

Question

What if we prefer to stay in a more private location than the Laguna Vista Hotel?

Answer

If you want to be able to enjoy some quiet time on your own over the weekend, then we completely support that! check out Air b&b and other vacation rental websites for cabins around the area! There is also the Angel Fire Resort in the next town over if you wish to be in a slightly more refined location.

Question

Are there Ubers in Eagles Nest?

Answer

Unfortunately no, there are no Ubers in this town as it is really quite small. This is why we recommend getting a rental car if you fly in or driving up to Eagles Nest from your hometown. We do however want everyone to be safe so please keep this in mind by designating a driver to get you back to your lodgings that night!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! please let us know if you have any allergies, especially if they are serious. We will work with our chef to ensure there is an option for you! Please contact our wedding planner at lydiahcalmeter@gmail.com and let her know what you cannot eat and we will take care of it!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes there will be parking for both the ceremony and reception! We will have these areas marked off and signs guiding you in to each area so that there is no confusion.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes kids are welcome on our wedding day! But please keep in mind that most of the wedding will be held outdoors and since it is up in the mountains there are not many lights apart from the main house, so keep an extra close eye on them when the sun goes down and have a good time! There will also be yard games and other activities to help keep the kiddos engaged and having fun!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony is set to start, this way we can ensure that everyone is there and seated before we begin! We will also have some drinks for you at the ceremony location to enjoy while you wait. For more information about the ceremony please see the schedule section of this website.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code information for all the events can be found under each event in the schedule section of this website!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You are more than welcome to bring a plus one, but please let us know when you RSVP for the wedding along with their name so that we can make sure there is enough food and chairs for everyone.
