The wedding is on Thursday, August 10th, so I recommend planning on getting there by Wednesday, August 9th. Getting there by Wednesday ensures you won't miss the big day in case there's any flight delays or travel issues! You are more than welcome and encouraged to come before Wednesday and stay as long as you'd like! I will have lots of different itinerary ideas you can use if you are going to be there longer! :) I highly recommend making a big vacation out of it!
You will be responsible for your travel and accommodations (airfare, airbnb/hotel, rental car), as well as your food (besides the reception) and whatever other activities you'd like to do! There's a $35 fee per car to get inside of the national park (highly recommend), which is good for a week.
You're welcome to bring your kiddos on the vacation, but the ceremony and reception will be kid-free due to limited space. You'll get to relax for the night!
In Whitefish, the high is 81 while the low is 48. It's always cooler in the mountains, so in the park the high for August is 70 while the low is 45. The weather in the mountains can change extremely fast.
There is no need to go out and buy something fancy :) You can most likely find an outfit in your closet! The ceremony and reception will be casual, but keep in mind we will be doing photos with everyone after the ceremony. A cute sundress for the ladies is great and nice jeans or slacks with a button down is great for the guys. You'll definitely want comfortable footwear for walking to the ceremony site and a sweater for the evening.
