What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We suggest arriving by 2:45pm at the absolute latest, preferably 2:30pm, for a 3pm start time. Please allow time for any potential traffic, parking, and walking that may occur.

Is there a dress code?

Yes! Cocktail attire.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We ask that guests refrain from using their phones during the ceremony as it is an unplugged ceremony. We would like guests to not be distracted by their devices and allow the professional wedding photographer to get the best possible shots without the interference of other flashes or mobile screens. However, the reception is fair game!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

On Street Parking is available throughout Downtown Frederick. There are five public parking garages available throughout Downtown Frederick offering convenient, affordable parking options. The venue is located closest to the Court Street, Carroll and Church Street garages. There is also limited street parking.

This is an adult-only event with the exception of one immediate family member.

Due to venue capacity, we cannot host any additional guests that did not receive a formal invitation.

Sure! Just check in with either of us and we will be more than happy to work with you and our caterer. We currently have gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception are both being held at Citizens Ballroom, 2 E Patrick Street, Frederick MD, 21701. Yes the venue is accessible. There is an accessible ramp entrance and an elevator for easy access to both floors.
