Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding is cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. The ceremony is outdoors so dress warm. Block heels or flats are encouraged due to the venue and ceremony location. Ladies, please refrain from wearing white or ivory. Gentlemen, please refrain from wearing green suits or jackets. Around 9/10, we will transition into a NYE party! Feel free to wear sequins!

Question

What are the colors for the wedding?

Answer

We wanted to keep it as close to NYE-style as possible! Our wedding colors are emerald green, gold, and black! We love anything that sparkles!

Question

Where will I park?

Answer

There are both gravel and grass parking areas available.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love kids, please note that the venue sits between two ponds, so all children will need to be under CLOSE adult supervision. Please know we will not have any type of childcare available during the ceremony or reception until very late for kids who would like to lie down. Parents are encouraged to have a kid-free date night for the party of the year! We do have limited seating, so we are asking for in-town guests to find childcare so our out-of-town guests can travel with their families if needed. Please be sure to RSVP for everyone in your party who will need a chair and a plate.

Question

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

We will give everyone an opportunity to snap as many photos as they can in one minute once we are both at the front of the ceremony site. Once this happens, we ask that all phones be put away. We have an amazing photographer and will share all of the photos with you all! During the ceremony and NYE party, we will have QR codes for the POV app. This allows you to take a set number of pictures with the app. You don't get to see them until the event is over! (*Think disposable camera.) Once the event is over, everyone will be able to see the photos from all of the guests who participated! Please be mindful of this when taking photos! It is so much fun!

Question

It's NYE... Will there be drinks?!

Answer

After the ceremony, we will have a serve-yourself cocktail hour while we take the final photos. We will follow with a meal and dessert bar. In addition, we will have late-night snacks and champagne to help us bring in the new year! We will also have a limited open bar with pre-mixed drinks, margaritas, wine, beer, and seltzers. Feel free to bring your own! We will have non-alcoholic options as well!

Question

How long will this last?

Answer

With it being NYE, we would love to have all of our guests ring in 2025 with us! However, we know this is late for some and others may have family traditions to attend. We appreciate any bit of time we get to celebrate with you! Do not feel obligated to stay all night!

Question

What kind of snacks will you have?

Answer

We will serve a buffet-style meal for dinner. The options will be included with your RSVP. We will also have a dessert table during the reception. And donuts during the NYE Party. Once we transition into a NYE party we will have an assortment of finger foods and fresh donuts!
