When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP NO LATER THAN April 15, 2024. This is to ensure that our vendors have an idea of how much food we need and also to ensure that the venue has enough seating in advance rather than last minute.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive no earlier than 5, and no later than 5:30.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code is summer formal! There are also colors that are not permitted for guests to wear: white and red. If you need ideas for an outfit, or if you have any doubts or questions on what you're considering wearing, PLEASE feel free to reach out to Morgan or the Maid of Honor, Jayde, her number is 941-525-0918.

Can I bring a date?

Please do not bring a plus one unless it was specified on your invitation. As much as we love everyone coming, we only have so much space!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love you, and we love your little ones. However, as there will be alcohol present, unless your child has been chosen to participate in the ceremony, kindly leave them with a babysitter for the night.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
When you RSVP, there will be a questionnaire to fill out, which includes questions about your dietary restrictions and preferences. Please be aware that our vendor may not be able to accommodate everything, but we will certainly try our best!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is a parking lot at the venue! Space is limited however, so please try to carpool with people you know!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

There will not be transportation provided.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
There's tons of hotels all around Abilene! Depending on where you would like to stay in the city, reach out to Morgan or Chase and ask about them!

What kind of alcohol is allowed?
Answer
We will be serving only beer and wine, per the venue's rules.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outside, the reception is inside!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
Absolutely not. We will have our photographer there the whole time. However, during cocktail hour and the reception you are free to take photos.

Where should we bring or send our wedding gift?
Answer
You can order it from our registry, or ask Morgan or Chase for their address to send it directly yourself! There will also be a table at the venue for gifts!

Can you suggest places to eat around town?
Answer
Please see the Things to Do page on this website for all the recommendations— from food, entertainment, state parks, etc.

Can I smoke at the venue?
Answer
Smoking of any kind (vaping, cigarettes, etc.) is not permitted at the venue. If you must smoke, please do so near your vehicle in the parking area.

Can I post photos I take of your wedding day on social media?
Answer
Please refrain from posting any photos of our special day until we post our professional photos.

Will there be a time gap between ceremony and reception?
Answer
Yes! There will be a cocktail hour in the covered pavilion at the venue, where you will be able to get some snacks and greet the bride and groom and take photos!

Will all wedding day events take place at the same venue?

Yes! They will all occur at Sabrina Cedars!

What is the meal that will be offered?
Answer
Honey-Dijon chicken in a mushroom cream sauce, with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, roasted green beans, a side salad with a choice of ranch or Italian dressing, and rolls!
