Nos vamos a casar!

Nos conocimos por primera vez en la universidad hace 8 años. Ambos estudiábamos para ser maestros y, aunque compartíamos esta meta, nunca habíamos tomado una clase juntos... hasta un año antes de graduarnos. Curiosamente, teníamos varios amigos en común, pero esta fue la primera vez que nuestros caminos se cruzaron. Por cosas del destino, nuestra relación no llegó a nada en ese momento, ni siquiera a una simple amistad, pero no sería la última vez que nos encontraríamos. Cuatro años después, en medio de la pandemia, nos volvimos a ver. Esa primera cita duró horas y hasta nos tuvieron que sacar del bar porque estaban por cerrar. Desde ese día fuimos inseparables. Al mes de empezar a salir, viajamos a Guanajuato, y poco después de cumplir un año de novios, comenzamos a vivir juntos... ¡y hasta adoptamos otra gatita! (El tercero está por llegar...) El resto es una historia que seguimos escribiendo día a día.

We met for the first time at university 8 years ago. Both studying to become teachers, we shared the same goal, but oddly enough, we had never taken a class together... until a year before graduating. Although we had several friends in common, that was the first time our paths had crossed. It seems the universe decided it wasn’t our time then, and our connection didn’t grow into anything, but it wouldn’t be the last time we’d meet again. Four years later, in the middle of the pandemic, we reconnected. That first date lasted for hours, so long, in fact, that they had to kick us out of the bar because they were closing. From that day on, we were inseparable. A month after we started dating, we traveled to Guanajuato, and shortly after our one-year anniversary, we moved in together... and even adopted another cat! (The third one is on the way...) The rest is a story we continue to write day by day.
