We're getting married!

Sierra and Tyler’s love story began in the spring of 2016. Sierra was a freshman at the University of Toledo, while Tyler was 21 and finishing his junior year. Even though they both attended the same university, they had never crossed paths on campus. Instead, they met hundreds of miles from home on a beach in Daytona during spring break, surrounded by a large group of fellow Toledo students. They spotted each other from across the beach, and the rest is history. The two were inseparable for the remainder of the trip and stayed in touch for a short time after returning to school. Eventually, life took them in different directions. Sierra focused on achieving her dream of becoming an occupational therapist and applying for graduate programs, while Tyler graduated, began his career, and moved out of state to Maryland. Little did they know that fate wasn't finished with their story. Then, at the end of the summer before Sierra’s senior year in 2018, Tyler reached out unexpectedly and told her that one of his biggest regrets from college was letting her get away. They reconnected that fall and began dating long distance. After a little over a year, Tyler moved to Cleveland so they could finally give their relationship a real chance. Over the next several years, they built a life together filled with love, laughter, and plenty of adventure. Through graduate school, career milestones, and countless memories, they became one another's biggest supporters. Sierra achieved her dream of becoming a pediatric occupational therapist at the Cleveland Clinic, while Tyler continued to grow his career in technology at Dick's Sporting Goods. Along the way, they shared homes across Cleveland, adopted their goofy dog Tito, and created a life that neither of them could have imagined when they first met on a beach in Daytona. What began as a spring break fling has become a lifetime of love, laughter, and partnership. The chance encounter that started on a beach in Daytona led them to exactly where they were meant to be—and now they can't wait to spend forever together!
