How did Sierra & Nate meet?

Sweet Moves!

Sierra first noticed Nate’s sweet moves on Instagram sometime toward the end of 2019. She quickly hit that “follow” button. Nate followed back. They began communicating on the gram and he noticed that Sierra was into handstands so he invited her to a handstand & mobility workshop that he was co-hosting (shoutout Vishal & Erika). The workshop was in Santa Monica on March 7th, 2020. They were supposed to hangout that weekend after the workshop but it never happened. One week later the world shutdown. At the time, Sierra was living in San Diego and Nate lived in Santa Monica (without a car). At first they were both just trying to figure out pandemic life on their own and there wasn’t much communication. A lot of trying to figure out how to get toilet paper and coffee filters. However, as the quarantine continued they did stay in contact with each other. Nate took one of Sierra’s virtual classes and Sierra did a few of Nate’s workout challenges (#YourAgeChallenge). When things started to open up a little bit more, Sierra invited Nate and his sweet moves to San Diego but he was “busy” with hosting Westside Fitclub in Santa Monica (outdoors and “six feet apart”). One week before Christmas 2020, Nate FINALLY decided to take Sierra up on that San Diego trip. That weekend, they both shared some sweet moves on the beach and Nate kissed Sierra for the first time. A few weeks later they were celebrating their first New Year’s together in beautiful Sayulita, Mexico (shoutout Vanessa and Bloyd!). Less than 4 months after that trip they would host their first retreat together in Sayulita and begin their sweet-Movement-Making journey together! Now, 5 years after first connecting on the gram, they’re getting married in Sayulita. Ánimo! Story as remembered by Sierra (Edited by Nate)
