Can we book campgrounds/hotel rooms outside of Mountain village?

Answer

Guests are welcome to stay anywhere in Stanley, but please keep in mind that most accommodations in the area tend to book up about a year in advance. Luckily, Mountain Village opens their bookings on January 1st, giving us all some time to plan and reserve! We recommend securing your spot as soon as possible once booking opens. Whether you choose a hotel room or a camping spot, Mountain Village is a convenient option close to all the festivities.

Do we have to stay the entire three days and two nights?

Answer

We want to make sure everyone feels comfortable and can plan their trip in a way that works best for them. Guests do not need to stay in Stanley from the 20th to the 23rd unless they wish to! If you’re attending the ceremony, we kindly ask that you arrive in Stanley a couple of hours before the event begins. We’re planning to start the ceremony around 5 PM, though the exact time is not finalized yet. We’ll provide updates as we get closer to the big day, so stay tuned! Additionally, if you plan on drinking, we ask that you please do not drive. Your safety is our top priority, and we want everyone to enjoy the celebration responsibly.

When/Where will the reception be held?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place on August 21 in beautiful Stanley, Idaho—a place that has always been close to Sierra’s heart. This intimate gathering is for close friends and family who have played a major role in our relationship. Following the ceremony, we’ll enjoy a small potluck-style reception with drinks and music to wrap up the day. To make sure everyone we love can join the celebration, we’re hosting a big reception on August 23 in Eagle, Idaho! Our amazing friends, Jon and Jenny, have graciously offered their beautiful property for this event. The reception will be a big party to celebrate with all of our friends and family, and we can’t wait to see everyone there!

Can we bring our pets?

Answer

While we love your furry friends, we kindly ask that guests do not bring pets to the celebration. Please note that pets are prohibited at the venue. If bringing your pet is absolutely necessary, they must remain entirely under your care and responsibility at all times. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep the day as smooth and enjoyable as possible for everyone!
