When Superman Found His Theatre Princess

“From a simple message to one magical firework, fate wrote our love story.”

For a year and a half, I gave up on dating. I deleted every popular dating app and chose instead to dedicate my energy to God and to my career in musical theatre. My focus was on building my faith, growing as a performer, and walking the path God had for me. I thought I had closed the book on love for the time being but God had already written the next chapter. What I didn’t realize was that I had forgotten to delete one small profile. While I was away in Connecticut performing in Dreamgirls at Goodspeed Musicals, a message from Logan appeared out of the blue. It completely caught me off guard. I wasn’t looking anymore. But there was something about him. His smile and kind eyes immediately captured me, and his warmth drew me in. I couldn’t help but keep talking to him. By October 2023, we were talking long-distance, and what started as a simple hello quickly grew into something much deeper. We planned to finally meet in person when I came home for the holidays. Our very first date was set for the night before Thanksgiving. I’ll never forget it: I took the train from Connecticut back to Philly, and when Logan said he was waiting outside, I walked outside and I didn’t see him. He parked all the way at the end of the block! We start walking towards each other. As soon as our eyes met, something unbelievable happened, a single firework lit up the night sky directly behind him. One firework, perfectly timed, as if God Himself was reminding me: this is no coincidence. I jumped in surprise, he smiled, and then we shared the warmest hug. The kind that makes you feel safe, known, and finally home. From that night forward, I knew Logan was different. He wasn’t just another person passing through my life, he was my forever. My Superman. The hero God placed in my story when I least expected it. And for Logan, I was his theatre princess the leading lady in his greatest love story. Our journey since then has been filled with laughter, adventure, and love that grows stronger every day. What began with one firework has grown into endless sparks, laughter, and unshakable love. Each day reminds us that the best stories aren’t written on stage or in comics, they’re lived hand in hand. And now, with God at the center, we’re stepping into our next chapter: forever. We cannot wait to celebrate this blessing with all of you!
