Love story

In February of 2020, life felt heavy. Everything seemed to be falling apart, and there was this sense of loneliness that was hard to shake. Then the world shut down, and it only added to that feeling of being lost. But even in that darkness, there was faith—quiet prayers, hope, and a belief that God had a plan, even if it wasn’t clear at the time. And then… we found each other. At first, it was just friendship. In the middle of all the chaos of COVID, we connected in a way that felt natural and easy—like we’d known each other far longer than we had. We’d spend time together, laugh, have deep conversations, and share little moments that made everything feel lighter. His friends became mine, and mine became his, and soon we had this circle of joy that made the heaviness fade. We even traveled together, which felt so freeing when the world felt confined. Somewhere along the way, that friendship grew into something deeper. There was this shift, this realization: this wasn’t just friendship anymore. It was something special, something real. Looking back, we both know it wasn’t by accident. God brought us together exactly when it was meant to happen—not too soon, not too late. Our story may not be a flashy fairytale or some dramatic love-at-first-sight moment, but it’s ours. It grew out of brokenness, faith, friendship, and timing—and that makes it even more beautiful. The truth is, we didn’t just walk into each others lives—we were sent— for reasons we may never fully know. But every day since, we’ve been grateful. Love found us when we least expected it, but exactly when we needed it most.
