The two have been close forever, but grew especially close during Vance's senior year of high school when the two spent most of the school year together. Landon is a musician and songwriter, he plays a number of instruments and never ceases to amaze Vance and Sierra with his musical gifts.

Michael-Ray is the older brother of Vance and soon to be brother-in-law of Sierra. Everyone else may call him Mike, but Vance never has and never will. Michael-Ray is the only name that Vance will ever call him. Michael-Ray and Vance went through hard times but always knew they could count on each other. Michael-Ray has worked extremely hard to become a master mechanic and more importantly an incredible husband and father.
