It was 1999 and we were your typical elementary school best friends. Our summers were spent swimming, camping out in the back yard, riding four-wheelers and watching scary movies. We've been saying "I love you" to each other ever since. Although we each transferred to different high schools, his being out of state, we managed to stay in touch and remain friends. We even attended each other's homecoming dances with one another. In college, we would plan our visits back home at the same time so we could catch up over lunch dates, him always greeting me with a "Hey Beautiful." He {finally} asked me to be his girlfriend during my senior year and five years later, he put a ring on it! We are so excited to celebrate with family and friends on our big day!
