On Friday, April 12th, 2019 there was a law school event on the Spirit of Boston that my sister and maid of honor, Amber, planned as SBA president and I was invited as her guest. She also encouraged her friend Michael to attend the event, but he was undecided on going because there was Bruins game that evening. Amber and I were at the front of the dock handing out tickets and as soon as I saw Michael arrive in his suit jacket with a festive Hawaiian shirt underneath, I couldn’t stop smiling. We spent the whole evening laughing, dancing, smiling and the rest is history!
On Thursday, August, 11th 2022, we took a drive down to Scituate for what Sierra thought would be a birthday dinner for me with my grandparents at The Mill Wharf. Little did she know that I picked out an engagement ring a few weeks earlier and organized our families, including the dogs, to come together for a special evening at Scituate Lighthouse. I told Sierra that we were a bit early for our dinner, so we should go for a quick walk along the jetty at the Lighthouse. After a few minutes I got down on one knee and asked the magic question and it was a resounding “YES”.
