Due to the presence of high-risk individuals, we are asking that everyone provides a negative at-home COVID test prior to their arrival in Sedona. The last thing we want is to hurt those we love dearly. This will be required for those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated.
While photos are an extremely important part of our day, we are asking that you please keep phones silenced and off during the ceremony. We have carefully chosen our photographer and know that she will capture the day perfectly for us! After the ceremony, feel free to take your own photos and share them with the hashtag #MaxandSie23
Our dress code is cocktail/church attire, and jackets are optional! Please be aware that we will be getting married on a rocky/uneven surface. There won't be any hiking required to get to the ceremony location, but we would recommend wearing heels with a thicker base.
We will be reaching the ceremony site by car! If you plan on renting a car or driving into Sedona, we would recommend bringing a higher clearance vehicle. We have successfully gotten to the site in a Chrysler Pacifica, but it was sticky in a couple of spots. If you don't have the option of a higher vehicle, please let Max know before arrival so we can get accommodations set up. We will have you drive until the pavement ends and help you the rest of the way!
The ceremony site is a bit rocky and overall an uneven surface. We will have some seating available, but individuals who struggle with balance may need some assistance. There is no wheelchair accessibility. The reception is 100% accessible to everyone including wheelchairs.
September is one of the most popular times to visit Sedona due to the beautiful weather and stunning red rocks! The average temperature high is 88°F and the average low is 58°F.
I have listed both the ceremony location and reception dinner location under the Things To Do tab here on the website!
The Ceremony will be fully outdoors, so be sure to wear sunscreen and bring a fan if you get hot easily. The Reception will be indoors and outdoors as our private dining room has a patio! In case of bad weather, we do have a backup plan, but we aren't manifesting that.
Partying of course!!! While tearing down the wedding site, we would love to grab photos with everyone in attendance as we won't really have the opportunity to do this at the reception dinner. After we have finished taking photos you are more than welcome to start heading to the restaurant to grab drinks and light eats! Dinner will start at 7 pm.
You can RSVP right here on the website or let Max or Sierra know! We have an RSVP deadline of August 15th!
We really wanted to have a virtual celebration option for our family members who can not make it to the wedding physically. You can find the link here on the website under the "Schedule" tab.
