We knew each other from school and from Drama and were friends but we never really started talking, talking until we were both at a peewee football game. He was there for Noah and I was there for Faith. We started talking and had discovered we had similar interests so we decided to give it a swing. We decided to go out and see The Conjuring for our first date. He might kill me for saying it, but I could tell he was nervous by the way he wanted to hold my hand but was very nervous to actually do it at first. But he did.
We have been dating for five long, eventful, memory filled years! The memories we have made together are irreplaceable and so wonderful. All of them are dear to me from going to Clifton Mills looking at Christmas lights to going with him and his family to North Carolina for Mike and Summer's wedding. Every moment I spend with him is amazing. I'm so thankful that his family has accepted me as their own and has included me in all of the family events.
Jim and Adam were having their yearly Halloween Party which we always love going to, but this year just so happened to have a bit more excitement in store. Little did I know when he suggested our couple costume idea of Jack and Sally (which I absolutely love) it was just a step toward the surprise. The party was going great and then Jim wanted to talk to everyone welcoming them to the annual party and then next thing I know Im being taken to the center of attention it didn't hit me till I see him go down to his knee. Everyone messes with me because I was so overwhelmed with emotion that all I could do was shake my head yes as tears streamed down my face! I was over the moon with happiness and still am!
