Sierra and Josh were married in a small private ceremony in Hawaii on June 12th and are excited to celebrate their marriage with everyone on July 7 in Los Angeles!

Sierra and Josh grew up in the church together. They often hung out in groups during church events like surf ministry, but did not become close until college. When Sierra started attending UCI they started hiking and surfing together on the weekends. For the next year they spent every spare moment texting and calling each other. They quickly fell for each other but were each too scared to make a move due to their close friendship. Finally after a year of circling each other during the summer of 2017, Sierra’s family invited Josh on their yearly trip to Mammoth. Sierra, being an avid hiker, invited Josh because he was the only one crazy enough to endure 16+ mi hikes uphill. For a blissful week they went hiking, fishing, camping, and mountain biking. Josh also got a taste of Sierra’s crazy family. On the last day of the trip Josh finally worked up the courage to tell Sierra he liked her. In response she was quiet and Josh quickly became terrified that he had just ruined their friendship. One agonizing hour later Sierra finally put Josh out of his misery and told him that she liked him too. They fell in love that summer and have been dating the last 5 years. Over the years home has slowly become a person rather than a place and when they are together they are home.
