We technically met at Sierra's Senior Paint Day and didn't think much of it. Jon came to visit his cousin Melissa, who is also close friends with Sierra, and she introduced us to each other. However, we didn't start getting to know each other more until we started working together at the same job at B&B Party Rentals.

We both love Disney and Jon had a vision of how he would propose in front of the castle. He was a nervous wreck that whole weekend because we weren't able to get admission into Disneyland until Sunday and we could only do California Adventures on that Saturday. He was scared that I would find the ring, which he hid in his backpack we used throughout the park, but everything worked out as planned! He said he wanted to take a picture in front of the castle as soon as we entered, which was nothing out of sorts for me because it made sense that there wouldn't be a long line. The photographer is taking our pictures and next thing I know Jon is down on one knee asking me to marry him! And I said YES!!
