While we LOVE your little ones, we ask that only the guests names on the invitation attend the wedding.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Weather in April can fluctuate quickly! Our ceremony and garden party will be held outdoors so of course we hope for sunshine and blue skies. Our amazing venue has ensured a game plan in case we have spring showers! Temperatures range between 75-85°F during the day and 55-68°F during the night. I encourage guests to keep an eye on weather closer to the wedding date and dress accordingly!

Is there parking at the hotel and venue?
Answer
The Hotel and Venue offer complimentary on-site parking. However, if staying at the recommended hotel we encourage to use the transportation we will have set up to bring guests to and from the venue on the day of the wedding. Alexander Homestead wedding venue also offers on-site parking but we strongly recommend using ride services such as Uber or Lyft. Cars cannot be left at Alexander Homestead overnight, they will be towed.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Welcome drinks & BBQ the night before - Comfortable Smart Casual attire. Recommend sundresses or jumpsuits for women. For men, chinos or jeans and a collared shirt or button down. Ceremony & Reception - The dress code for our wedding is cocktail/semi-formal attire. Women may feel free to wear colorful maxi or midi dresses or dressy separates, and men are encouraged to wear casual suits. It is a garden style venue. Please note our ceremony will be outdoors if weather permits. Our garden party that will take place after the ceremony will be on a grassy lawn, so we suggest women wear a thicker heel, wedges or flats to avoid heels from sticking in the ground.
