Here’s what we envision the day to look like! A small, intimate, outdoor ceremony. There is an onsite opportunity for an indoor ceremony depending on weather. At the same location, move to indoor reception area. Dinner, dessert, and drinks provided. Feel free to bring your own beverage and we can put them in the fridge/cooler. We plan on providing beer (Michelob Ultra and Busch Light) and a cocktail (Cucumber Gimlet). After dinner, we will enjoy the night buzzing and yapping and celebrating the newly married couple!
We love your kids, but this will be an adults only event. Take the night off from sippy cups and tantrums, and instead enjoy some champagne and friends! If this causes issues for your plans, please reach out to the bride and adjustments can likely be made!
YES! When you arrive on location, there is a gate that is separating the road from the gravel lot. Make sure you are entering the gate with the large lot (last gate when driving past the location). The code is 5141, and the gates will open for you. Watch for a wedding sign that will be by the gate to help!
NO! Please wear what you feel your best and comfortable in! If you are interested in matching the color scheme, nudes, tans, and all shades of pink would look fantastic. The bride recommends bringing comfortable clothes for post ceremony activities, something you can drop it low in 🤪
Your presence is enough gift for us, but if you are looking for more we are asking for donations to our dream honeymoon. We hope to travel the west coast and visit as many national parks as we can. Cash or Venmo (sierra-Simmons-2015) would be greatly appreciated!
The location is a short four minute drive to several hotel options! Here is a list of a few: Baymont by Wyndham Des Moines North Motel 6 Des Moines North Red Roof Inn Des Moines
If you are a member of the wedding party, we are providing you with a place to crash. The catch? Rooms are limited! In total (not including where the bride and groom will sleep) there are two king beds, four full beds, two sectional couches, and two couches. If you prefer your privacy, a hotel is an option, but we would love to have the whole group feel comfortable and safe to enjoy their night freely!
