Our first date was nerve-racking and yet amazing. it was the type of date you think is going to be easy, talk some, get to know one another, and maybe kiss a little. You know a casual date type of thing, but when we got to the movies and saw eachother, it was crazy. he looked amazing, I had just gotten off work and was breaking out in a nervous sweat. We paid for our tickets and went to take a seat. Our first date, we watched Wreck-It Ralph 2. Yes, there were some tears, mostly (only) from me. A few "what's your favorite?" questions, a cute yawn-hug and a perfect kiss to top it off. I think we both knew once we kissed one another there was no going back, nor was there any wanting to. Every day after I truly believe that we've fallen more in love with one another. Sure, we might tick one another off sometimes, but isn't that how you know its real? We knew this was going to be real and epic, and it has been. It's been, well "nerve-racking and yet amazing".
Christian had spent the whole day knowing what he was going to do. He had the ring and a goal to reach. He first asked me out on a date and told me I could pick the place. When we had gotten there I could see the nerves eating him. As soon as we had finished our meal and was getting up to leave, Christian asked me to hold on. I, of course, knew what was happening all along and told him 'nope' as I left him behind. I know it was mean, but hey I was scared too, its a huge thing. So then after that kerfuffle, Christian and I decided to go to his favorite park. I thought "okay if this is going to happen why not do it in front of this big beautiful lake. but then Christian's nerves had gotten the best of him. so we walked over the meridian village it was already getting dark by then and so all the lights were on. It was stunning we seen the artwork and grabbed a bit to eat. and when we were finished looking around, about to leave. Christian got a phone call, He and I sat down on this little bench with a fireplace behind it next to the water displays near the entrance. Once Christian's phone call was over we sat next to one another for a moment in silence enjoying the heat from the fire. Christian then reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a ring, he got down on one knee and asked me the question. I, of course, was sitting there silently like a crazy person. then finally saying yes got down on my knees with him and hugged him as tightly as I could. he slipped the ring on my finger and told me he loved me.
