We met how everyone meets in this day in age. Online. It was love at first "swipe". After talking for many weeks. We decided enough was enough and to finally meet in person. So Sierra made the trek to Bradenton and the rest was history.
During the midst of the COVID pandemic, I never thought something magical would come out of that year. Allen was planning something more extravagant that I could have ever thought of. We had discussed getting engaged here and there and he knew how important having our families be apart of it meant to me. So on a beautiful November day, my sister (Yvette) drove me down to an air strip and we met Allen in a flight hanger. I was in utter disbelief at what was happening. We hopped into a helicopter and flew across the beautiful skies. Thirty minutes later upon landing all I could see is both of our families holding "Will you marry me?" signs and Allen getting down on one knee. That day was filled with happy tears and blissful moments we will never forget.
