Do you have a wedding registry? Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, we do have a registry. However this is a wishing well wedding! So if you would like to gift us, contributions to our honeymoon and first-home renovation fund would be greatly appreciated! You can find the fund on the wedding website though Zola.com, or bring your gift to the wedding. We also utilize Zelle for direct contribution.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is expected to commence promptly at 3:00PM CST. We strongly advise and would greatly appreciate guest to arrive 30 minutes early so that you are comfortably seated before the doors close to limit interruptions.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will there be parking?

Answer

Chicago parking can be a unpredictable! Unfortunately, transportation will not be provided. Our venue does offer parking approximately a four minute walk from the venue. The parking lot address: 2322 N Albany Ave, Chicago IL, 60647 There will also be a sign placed Infront of the building for our guests/vendors to see. Don't forget Uber/Lift if you plan on indulging during the reception. We want everyone to be safe leaving the event!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Think Eleganza-Extravaganza! This is a formal occasion, so dress up! We would love to see you looking dapper in your suits and beautiful in you floor length gowns. Although this is a December wedding, no colors are off limits; EXCEPT ALL SHADES OF WHITE! Let's leave white to the Bride on her special day. :)

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place indoors at the Stan Mansions in Chicago.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

I know we have some family coming from out of town to celebrate with us, and we are so appreciative. But as we all know, there is no way to predict Chicago weather. We suggest dressing for a beautiful, yet chilly Chicago day.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

As much as we love all of your kids, this wedding is an adult occasion. Please use this night as a night out or date night away from the kiddos unless the couple expressed to you directly that your child may attend.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

The cocktail hour will have a variety of food that should accommodate any and all dietary needs. Drink served from the cash bar will be limited to; wine, beer and non-alcoholic refreshments.

No, but please let us know if you need assistance or recommendations while booking!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Of course! However, please be respectful during the ceremony in regards to flash photography and aware of obstructing our photographers from getting pictures (we are paying a lot for those to come out nice, we would hate for your hand and phone to be blocking the frame). Most importantly, all sound should be turned off during the ceremony.

Due to the fact that we weren't able to invite all of our loved ones, we ask that you PLEASE RSVP by November 2nd. So if you are not able to attend we can extend to other friends and family in a timely manner.

Good question, knowing our family the reception could go on all night! But formally ends at 11PM.

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

We are NOT asking quests to be vaccinated! But please, stay home if you are sick. We do advise that everyone at least get tested for Covid-19 a week before the wedding if possible. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, go for it! But it wont be required unless the City mandates it.
