It was just another Wednesday night, after one of Dalton's men's league basketball games. Like clock work, Sierra received her weekly text on where the team planned to meet for a late dinner and drinks. It didn't matter who texted her, she almost always showed up, the text read: Dalton: Hey wanna meet at Bandits for a couple drinks? Sierra: Yeah sure, let me shower quick I just got back from the gym. Dalton: Alright see ya soon. Sierra finished getting ready, slapped on a pair of leggings and jetted to hang with the crew. As she walks into bandits a local bar in GI, she noticed Dalton, all by himself. Typically on nights like these he is accompanied by 3-4 other friends. After approaching the table, Sierra says "Where's everyone else?" Dalton replies "I didn't invite anyone else." Before that moment, truth be told, Sierra was pretty clueless that Dalton even liked her, let alone liked her more than a friend. If you know Dalton, he doesn't really wear his feelings on his sleeve, so you might be able to relate to not knowing what's going on in his head. They first met in grade school when they both attended Gates Elementary, finding out not long after the school year began, that they also lived just a half block away from each other. They both claim to have had crushes on each other in their childhood years, but neither ever dared to tell the other. After 8th grade Dalton moved to Shelton, spending his high school years there, while Sierra finished her high school years at Senior High in GI. After graduating and only running into each other occasionally at a college party here and there, they always stayed friends. Long story short they went from being neighbors in child hood, to best friends and soon to be husband and wife. #itsallhisthyfault
