Luke and Sienna’s story began long before they ever called it love. They both attended the same school, Calvary Chapel Yorba Linda, from the time they were two years old. Preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, and junior high—they were always in the same class. Even though they grew up side by side, they weren’t especially close. Still, their teachers often paired them together for projects, almost as if they could see something special long before Luke and Sienna ever did. It wasn’t until junior high that their friendship really began to take shape. After graduating eighth grade together, their paths split for the very first time. Luke went on to attend Esperanza High School, while Sienna attended Orange Lutheran High School. Even though they were no longer in the same classrooms, the distance didn’t pull them apart. They stayed connected through constant texting and long FaceTime calls that lasted for hours. In 2018, Luke and Sienna attended their first high school dance—Luke’s homecoming. That night changed everything. What started as two longtime classmates deepening a friendship turned into the beginning of a beautiful love story. The very next day, Luke and Sienna officially began their relationship—one that has now span eight years. Like any great love story, theirs hasn’t been without challenges. Over the years they experienced both highs and lows, even parting ways twice. Each time they found their way back to one another, having grown as individuals and having become more certain of the deep connection they shared. Then, on Christmas Day in 2024, Luke got down on one knee and proposed to Sienna in front of both of their families. Eight years after that first dance, two kids who had grown up side by side were now beginning the next chapter of their lives together—engaged and ready for forever.
