We met in the summer of 2021 the way many modern love stories begin, online. Our very first date was a walk and ice cream at City Island, and it didn’t take long for both of us to realize this was something special. Like, forever and ever special. Just three months later, we started our long-distance chapter — more than eight hours apart, with Joshua heading to school in Vermont and Sienna staying in Pennsylvania. It wasn’t easy, but “forever and ever” became our refrain. Through spotty WiFi, endless FaceTime calls, and way too many teary goodbyes, we held on tight. In the summers, we got to be together, and we made the most of every minute. We explored 18 states together (so far!), met each other’s extended families, and even went on a full-blown grandparent road trip. Some of our favorite memories include finding a frozen waterfall in New Hampshire and seeing Noah Kahan in New York. After college, Joshua moved to Georgia, and the distance grew — but so did our commitment. With monthly visits and gaming dates galore, we never stopped showing up for each other. Then came Valentine’s Day, 2025. We split the distance to meet in the middle, North Carolina, and in the middle of a rainy walk, right by the prettiest pink trees, Joshua pulled out the ring, and of course Sienna said yes. From heart-hands on the first date to planning a wedding and a life together, we’ve been choosing “forever and ever” every step of the way. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
