FAQs

Question

When should I reserve my ferry spot?

Answer

Washington State Ferries has released their Summer ferry schedule! 30% of reservations have been released at this point. Another 30% of reservations will be released at 7am two weeks out from your chosen sailing date, and then again at 7am two days out from your sailing date. These are the ONLY time slots you will be able to reserve a spot for your car on the ferry so I recommend being ready to go and reserving early! Please message Siena or Shawn if you have any questions :)

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by no later than June 18th, 2026. There are special challenges that come with hosting a wedding on the island and we need to get a final guest count in to our vendors by this date. Thank you for your consideration :)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal The Bride has specifically requested that people refrain from wearing black -- she knows this may be harder for the men but the ladies have no excuse! Use this as your reason to wear that colorful clothing item you've been wanting to wear :) In addition, the ceremony will be on the beach so please be mindful of footwear - we don't want anyone to twist their ankle or ruin their favorite shoe!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If their name isn't listed on the invite OR there is not a spot for plus one when you RSVP we will sadly not have room to accommodate another guest.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of your little ones, we chose for our wedding celebration to be a kid-free space. We know this may be hard for some of you since the venue is a ferry ride away so please plan ahead and know how much we appreciate you respecting our wishes. It's a great opportunity to enjoy a nice date-night :)

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We will have designated parking in a field near the venue but please carpool with friends/family to save space!
