We met through a mutual friend, who made lunch plans with the both of us as a group and ended up not being able to make it. We decided to still get lunch with just the two of us and just kept things going from there. (Thanks Ryan)

We went up to Canon beach for what was supposed to be a weekend getaway. While whale watching on our porch at the Stephanie Inn, I felt a bump on my leg and looked over to see Zach on one knee asking me to marry him. I was taken completely by surprise but of course, I said YES! Apparently everyone in the world knew and it had been planned out for months. We would like to thank Betsey Johnson for arranging our stay at the Stephanie Inn and the employees there for knowing about it and not ruining the surprise!
