These are a MUST see while in Darwin. Bring a picnic blanket, your camera and an empty tummy and enjoy all the delish food and snacks available! Held every Thursday and Sunday night between 4pm-9pm throughout the dry season. We will be going on Thursday 13th August, so if you are interested please join!
Our favourite date night activity! Grab a drink, bring some snacks, slap on the mozzie repellent and enjoy a movie under the clear, dry season skies. We will be organising a night to go, so if you are interested in joining, please let us know!
Held every Saturday morning between 8am-2pm. Delicious food, flowers and souvenirs. Top pick - Marys Laksa (iconic! a must try). You better believe we will be there on Saturday morning to grab our morning ice coffee to get us ready for our big day!
Nightcliff is one of our favourite Darwin neighbourhoods and has a beautiful walking track along the foreshore. Don’t miss: 1. A dip at Nightcliff Beach (if you’re feeling brave enough for the crocs!) 2. A walk along Nightcliff Jetty 3. Coffee, lunch, or a wine or cocktail at the Foreshore Café 4. Food trucks! These always pop up along the foreshore
Easy accessible by 2WD and only 1.5hr from Darwin, Litchfield NP is the perfect day trip! Our top recommendations are: - Florence Falls - Buley Rockhole - Wangi Falls - Greenant Creek (Tjaetaba Falls) We will be hiring a Mini Bus to take a group of us down for the day. If you are interested in joining, please let us know!
Our local when we lived here! East Point is a great spot for morning and evening walk (approx. 8km loop). Walk along the beautiful foreshore and orange cliffs or go for a (croc free!) dip in Lake Alexander
Another amazing day trip! Only 1.5hr from Darwin, this is a great place to cool off under a tropical waterfall but can dry up quickly. Recommend stopping at Adelaide River for some lunch afterwards.
