Yes. It is always possible that the Hood Canal Bridge could randomly close for long periods of time. We recommend finding somewhere to stay in Jefferson County the night before the wedding (check out our travel section on the website). If you don't plan on staying in Jefferson County the night before the wedding, give yourself plenty of time driving to the wedding (add in an extra hour) or plan to take the scenic route the other way around the Hood Canal.

No, but it's always fun when guests come dressed up and looking their best! There may be opportunities to take photos with the bride and groom throughout the evening, so keep that in mind!

The Hood Canal Bridge has been known to randomly close for long periods of time, and you have the best chance of making it to the wedding on time if you stay on the Jefferson County side of the bridge the night before the wedding.
