Question

Could the Hood Canal Bridge close on the day of the wedding?

Answer

Yes. It is always possible that the Hood Canal Bridge could randomly close for long periods of time. We recommend finding somewhere to stay in Jefferson County the night before the wedding (check out our travel section on the website). If you don't plan on staying in Jefferson County the night before the wedding, give yourself plenty of time driving to the wedding (add in an extra hour) or plan to take the scenic route the other way around the Hood Canal.

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding and reception?

Answer

Although we love your children, this event is for adults only: NO EXCEPTIONS.

Question

Can I bring other guests with me who aren't listed on my wedding invitation?

Answer

Due to the the venue capacity, only guests listed on the wedding invitation may attend.

Question

Is there a dress code for guests?

Answer

No, but it's always fun when guests come dressed up and looking their best! There may be opportunities to take photos with the bride and groom throughout the evening, so keep that in mind!

Question

Where should I stay the night before the wedding?

Answer

We recommend any of the hotels listed in our travel section of the website. The Hood Canal Bridge has been known to randomly close for long periods of time, and you have the best chance of making it to the wedding on time if you stay on the Jefferson County side of the bridge the night before the wedding.
