Yes! Sidney is a teacher and loves children! We will even have some coloring activity sheets to keep them busy :) Just know that there will NOT be any babysitting services provided, so you will need to take care of your kid(s) the whole night!
The ceremony will be outside, so prepare for warmer weather! That being said, if we happen to have poor weather, the ceremony would be inside. The reception will take place inside their large rustic barn-like structure. It is still very open air, so expect to be on the warmer side.
There is not a particular dress code, just the normal wedding attire etiquette (ex. no white, cocktail/semi-formal mid-length to full-length dresses, suits, etc.)
The guests that are invited to the wedding will be listed on the invitations. We are not allowing additional plus-ones at our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guest list to only those who know us well!
We will be serving charcuterie boards during the cocktail hour, followed by a buffet style pizza bar! Pizza is one of Shamus & Sidney's favorite foods, so it only made sense! There will be caesar salad and garlic rolls as well. There will be multiple varieties to choose from, and vegetarian options will be provided! The caterer we are using will provide a gluten free pizza for those who have dietary restrictions (although probably not celiac safe).
Yes! We want everyone to have a great time and enjoy themselves! There will be a few beer, wine, and seltzer choices for those who choose to drink (no hard alcohol). We will also have soda and other N/A options for those who do not drink and the kiddos who attend!
The registry can be found on this website! Look up at the top (where you see all the headers) and locate the tab listed "Registry". That page will walk you through some of the gifts we would love to receive, and you should be able to purchase directly through this website!
If you choose to purchase a gift to honor our marriage, you can have it delivered to our home address (4349 W Dunkirk Ave Apt 244 Hayden, ID 83835). We will also have a card box and gift table available at the ceremony!
Our wedding will take place at the Saltbox Barn on July 19th, 2026. The ceremony will begin at 4pm sharp, guests should begin to arrive around 3:30-3:45. The ceremony will be followed by cocktail hour and the reception, with a send-off of Sidney & Shamus at 9pm!
You are more than welcome to take photos during our reception and ceremony. We would prefer if the ceremony remained more "unplugged" meaning free from electronics. We trust our photographer to capture every moment we might want, and we would be more than happy to share those photos with you!
