The Wedding Website of Sidney Orr and Mikhail Roque
Question

What time will the wedding ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. sharp! The Seattle Aquarium will be ready to welcome our guests to the ceremony area on the back pier at 6 p.m., so be sure to come early and get settled. The Aquarium closes at 6 p.m., so you may need to navigate through meandering tourists on their way out to get to the pier behind the aquarium where the ceremony will take place. There will be some signs to direct you.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

This event is black tie optional, so wear what makes you feel fancy. The ceremony will be outdoors if the weather allows, so bring a coat or whatever you need to stay comfortable inside and outside. Maybe this goes without saying, but please don't wear white. We'll both be wearing white and we want to stand out in our wedding photos.

Question

How should I get to the aquarium?

Answer

We recommend taking public transit or ride shares to the aquarium to take full advantage of the open bar. The best light rail station near the aquarium is University Street, then head north from University Street Station then west down Union Street, and take the bridge to the Seattle Waterfront.

Question

I'm driving to the aquarium. Where can I park?

Answer

The Pike Place Market Parking Garage has a flat evening rate of $8 after 5 p.m.! You can enter the garage at the following locations: 1531 Western Ave, Seattle, WA 98101 1901 Western Ave, Seattle, WA 98101 1530 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98101 Don't get road rage (I'm looking at you, Nana). When driving to the garage, give yourself enough time to wait for the countless Pike Place tourists at crosswalks. Once you park, take the garage stairs or elevator (located near the center of the garage) to the 2nd floor. Follow signs leading to the pedestrian exit/waterfront. Once you exit the garage, follow the ramped pathway toward the waterfront and then the sidewalk for one block until you reach the crosswalk at Alaskan Way and Union Street. After crossing Alaskan Way, head north one block to the Aquarium’s entrance at Pier 59.

Question

What sort of wedding gift should I bring?

Answer

The funny thing about living together for 5+ years is that we already have the cookware and general home goods we want. If you want to give us a gift, you can check out our cash registry here on our website, and we'll have a card box on the wedding day.

Question

Is the aquarium accessible?

Answer

The Aquarium’s buildings and restrooms are wheelchair-accessible. If you need a wheelchair, just let us know in advance so we can have the wheelchair ready for you.
